Okay, here is what the employee website says in regards to 3 people in a truck and down-time. Now remember, that this is from the website and it may NOT be correct...You trainer should let you and your GF take the bottom bunk, but that is totally at his/her discretion... "Third Party Motel Policy (Husband/Wife Teams only) In the event that a third party truck is laid over, a motel room may be issued to one of the persons on the truck in order to provide sleeping arrangements for all three drivers. This is only to be used in situations where you will be down for more than 8 to 10 hours, when waiting for your next assignment, or in the shop. All motel purchases should be approved by your fleet manager before purchasing any room. Any room purchased without approval from your fleet manager may not be reimbursed, or may only be partially reimbursed at our standard rate of $45.00 per night."

That seems interesting, I guess we will get some quality time together lol. I am just nervous about having an accident because I really need this career to work to achieve some financial goals.

Nervous is good. It helps keep you sharp. Just pay attention, be patient, don't worry, be happy.
When you get here on Monday, stop by and see me. I am on the second floor in the Permits Department.

Is a 30"" soft sided rolling duffle bag too big to bring on the truck for training?

Don't be nervous, it can cause problems. Just be very attentive and focused.

Maybe, but it depends on how much room the trainer has. if it folds up flat it could be alright.

How often will I get the chance to wash clothes while in training?
