This thread isn't for advise. It's a public journal , nothing more.
    Please peddle you're hate elsewhere

Dude, there is no hate. I have been following this thread for a while. But the guy that posted about leasing from penske or Ryder. I guess I should have quoted his post. There was no hate pointed toward you. Hell ,, I'm a fan. Keep up the good work and please keep updating.

I only stated that I have heard it is a good deal. Never tried it myself. How did I offend with suggesting leasing through Penske? I'm completely lost.

you didn't offend me. The point I is was trying to make was, according to your statement, a lease purchase was a rip off. That's not true.(imo,) but leasing from Ryder or penske, that was my rebuttal against your comment. That's rougly 2500$ a month in lease payments. That's just a lease payment alone. There is no ownership at the end. Point being, it is , ,, if you have been in this industry, you should know how the finance's work. That's all. I wasn't trying to come across as a smart butt. But trying to type a response, came across that way.

Well ok then. I guess I just learned the truth about Penske. I've seen many drivers get caught up in this lease purchase scheme and most of them have failed. Speaking to successful O/O is how I came to the conclusion. A man told me that it's better to build your credit and search for a newer truck. I was only stating what I had learned from others.
    Good luck

As far as the penske deal, it's 725 a week, and 10cpm. Now with that, there are no normal maintenance costs, unless you tear something up. Then you have to replace. But any normal wear and tear is covered, as well as the pm.
