bad radiator cap?

    Mine has a clear plastic reservoir mounted on the rad, but probably would suffer from the same problems as the black ones.

    Most trucks have a 10 lbs cap or better, and if the cap is good and the tank is not damaged there should be no leakage. You only remove the cap when it is COLD, if you have a clear tank, you only remove it when checking the additive package.

    Yes, the clear ones do suffer the same.

    My freightliner has a 14.0 Detroit had excessive white smoke coming out the exhaust pipe and had antifreeze in the oil changed the egr cooler quit smoking white but has turbulence in the radiator reservoir lots of bubbles if you increase the rpm the bubbles quit and levels out smooth never uses oil or ever overheats what would be causing this thank you.
