speaking of trash, when one cleans out the inside of dry van or reefer where does one dispose of the trash?

I carry brooms and 13 gallon plastic bags on board for this purpose, they also come in handy when one is parked where there isn't anything around to dispose of it

sometimes a shipper or reciever doesn't allow trailer clean outs on the premises, they don't supply a trash bin. ok

so if there's more trash in a trailer that'll fit in 13 gallon bag where do you get rid of it?

I look for trash bins too but why doesn't receiving finish unloading? I see this kind a trash at truck stops and other places too.

In my case I didn't know about the crap until I pulled out. At most copper rod drops we assist in pulling up the nails and 2×4's and clean up the dunnage before we take off. At this place I had to sit in a cage while my truck was unloaded but couldn't see the dock to know if they took it out or not. They changed owners at this place. Last time I was allowed on the dock.

I'm bobtail, company says we need you to pick up this empty 300.miles down the road asap.. ok , off I go, only to find it's loaded with with 16 empty pallets and a few busted up, what am I suppose to with em ? company says try the shipper on next load. luckily the shipper did take the good pallets after a few hours of debate and wait. I dont believe that shipper will do it again

Just find a Mexican. They always have a cousin or uncle that buys and sells pallets or knows someone that does.

Works here in El Paso. You could be rid of problem pallets within the hour! ;)
