I was going north on the 405 and some idiot was yelling into the cb about how stupid drivers were on the fwy. He also stated that there are over 150 accidents in the socal each day and how if people used there turn signals that that would drastically decrease.

needlessly to say i went on the air and told him that if he got off the *censored* cb and watched the road then he wont get into an accident

"Ok Swift, ya made it, Bring it back over"
"Ok Schneider, Ya made it, Bring it back over"
"Ok JB, Ya made it, Bring it back over"

Those are the most stupidest and disturbing things I have ever had to say on the radio. :biggrin_25511:
All thanks to high fuel prices and Shaffer cutting me back to 61mph.

Hey, TMC you got enough securement on that load. Sure it was overkill. But I was a new driver, and wanted to make it was safe for all of us on the road.

Better too much than too little--every time. It only takes one time for something to fall off the trailer and shut down the highway, kill someone, get you fired, etc.

No worries about telling them to come back over. Your chances of them actually having a CB are slim. I don't even bother trying to talk to any of those companies any more. Schneider responds the most of the 3.

Okay....two things. First, I'm shocked to learn that the folks I know & love from the Northeast have actually organized themselves into A GROUP called CBAzzholes I almost fell out of my chair at that one. I've got an AOL account so I can't join....anyone know how I can sneak in there and see what's going on? LOL.

Second, I used to run Miami- Hunt's Point all the time and I am suprised no one mentioned "Big Mike With The Big Big Radio" down in Miami. He's a base station, always stirring up trouble around rush hour by insulting drivers....BUT if you're close enough/big enough to talk back to him...he is actually useful & will give local info. He once helped my husband find a shipper and once directed us to a good Chinese food place with truck parking LOL.

Also suprised no one mentioned "I gotta GO I gotta GO I gotta GO- BEEP BEEP, I gotta GO" up in NYC....or the "Scratchin my b*lls....scratch scratchin' my b*lls" guy in NYC.....Or the "MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT.....RIIII-DERRRR" who's on (at night, lol) around Baltimore.

And my husband wonders why I hardly ever drive with the stupid thing on anymore, LOL.

I hear that blowhard all the time. He seems to come in the strongest down on 826 between Hialeah and the airport. Man, that dipsheet is long winded and anoying. He's caused me to turn my radio off I don't know how many times.
