I went down Kicking Horse Pass today.
It's a very long and very steep mountain pass with a huge vertical drop.
Even after all the times I went up and down that pass, it's still impressive. Even if the top half of it is now a divided highway and fairly straight.
The bottom is the "old" section and still 2 lanes and lots of slow speed and tight curves.

I guess Glacier Park is a good place to see a glacier.

Lots of snow on top. But the road at the bottom is about 100 feet above sea-level.

In 1 day, I saw Mt Baker, Mt Rainer, Mt St-Helens and Mt Hood.
Crappy camera couldn't take 1 decent picture.
Sweet car in WA.

I wonder if the "Crab Pot" is still on the pier by Ripley's. Best sea-food I've had at a restaurant.

One half decent pic of Mt Hood I got this morning in Troutdale.

I was surprised to see a river boat on the Columbia. In my mind, those boats were only on the Mississippi.

How embarrassing, I got passed by a VW Van.

In my defense, the road was going slightly uphill and the Oregon speed limit for trucks is 55.
My day is done.
