Can Americans work in Australia it would be fun to work in trucking for a couple of months in Australia,
-
I was reading this and hoping the EAD would allow me to apply to work for 12 months in the USA.
https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/gr...-procedures/employment-authorization-documentkiwi23 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
What do you mean?
CDL A means you have right to drive big truck, over 12 tons combined weight, equipped with air brakes (air brake endorsement) and combination, semitrailer. -
I am sure there are Visa's to allow you to work here, but it could take you a long time to find work here. I know people who havent been able to find work for 6 months or more. If there are people unemployed in the trucking industry (or any industry you want to work in) you most likely wont get a Visa for that particular role.blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Ah ok
You mentioned CDL and CDL A. I thought there might have been different classes of CDL. -
How do the Bulgarians get a CDL if a visitor visa wont get them a CDL?
Sorry I am a bit confused. -
http://www.roadmaster.com/cdl_training_class-a.php
CDL A - combination truck+trailer
CDL B - straight truck -
The Bulgarians, and not only, got their CDL A years ago, they came on visitor or student visa years ago, and got their papers, like SSN (social security number), driver licence, CDL A.
But last year the game changed, and is very hard to drive truck with CDL A and no green card or US passport.V8Wookiee Thanks this. -
Ok.
