Haha lots of questions. Sounds like he's interested in car hauling. I'm sure if you hauled from Lincoln to Jackson that they would give you a back haul out of Canton. I don't work for Hansen so I can't help much. Truck are generally utilized the best they can be which is as little deadhead as possible so you would probably reload at the closest terminal. That's the way we do anyway.

That's exactly right. You are usually sent to the closest shipper we have for a reload if they have the freight.

Sorry I can't help more but I don't work for Hansen. I can help with general questions but not company specific one. If I can answer anything I will. Your are asking the right questions, that's why I said that it looks like you want to be a car hauler. Wish I could answer more

To answer some of your questions. This is my experince and may not be company wide. H&A seems to be a laid back company. If I need off I take off. Vacation is one week after one year, two weeks after two year, and it continues to build up. We get 3 paid sick days and 9 paid holidays I think. For the most part, 95% of the time, I dictate what I run. Meaning I pick my runs out of what's available. I've got certain areas I like to run that gets me home when I need to. Benefits seem to be good. I'm on my wife's health insurance, so they pay me $60 per week for not using theirs. As far as pay, percentage is good as long as your not dead heading all over the place. I try to reload at the closest place I can as soon as possible. We get skid drop, reload, and yard skid pay. We get delay and breakdown pay if approved. We don't get paid when we get our trucks serviced, which I don't agree with. All in all I've been happy here since I signed on. Theres money to be maid here if you want to make it. It's not a perfect company, but show me one that is. Maybe I answered some of your questions
