The turn signals?? The rear? The side? The hood? Give a better description of what is going on. And a 2000 freightliner what? M2, Columbia? FLD?
Heavyd Thanks this. -
The hood turns and if the trailer is on the side turns on it FLD day cab
-
The turn signals will still flash just show solid
-
Man you make no sence.

No he does not but I have seen that also and just can't remember. I thank it was the turn signal switch. You might swap the relays that click with the turn signs on first but I don't thank that is it.
-
Yes he does make sense. Only because I have seen it come through my shop a couple of times. Problem is was that the last time was about 5 years ago and I don't exactly remember which one of the air pressure switches on the manifold mounted under the cup holder, behind the trash bin was the culprit. Unplug each switch one at a time until you find bad one. If this truck has daytime runner lights that come on when you release park brake, had something to do with that. Memory getting worse with age!

Does it do it when your running lights are off?
-
This truck does not have day time running lights. All the turn lights in the bumper and on the hood will illuminate when you depress the brake. The only other time the hood lights come on is when you turn on your turn signal. To answer the last question it does it whether running lights are on or not
