Hi Professional drivers...,
hope all is well out there, as you see in the subject title, used truck prices,,, I worked for some time in the car business...and in the car business, we use some apps that could help in determining the car prices like kelly blue book.
My question is there any sort of an app that the truck dealers use, and seriously i'm looking for buying my first used truck.
any advice's, on helping me find the best deal for the best price....would be appreciated.
Thank you

www.rigdig.com can help concerning the history of the truck.
Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this. -
I passed by a lot I29 in Iowa had to have 3 or 4 thousand late model tractors in it.
I35 below Dallas, think might be Stevens used lot, another 1000.
I90 in Washington some Freighty dealer had Gordons old fleet, looked like somebody planted blue freightliners as far as the eye could see.
Gonna hope nobody pays too much for a tractor right now. -
NADA has a commercial truck division. You can pay an annual subscription and they will mail you their little price book that goes back approx 10 yrs. They also used to have an online option where you paid per VIN and get an instant price.

You can bet these nada books are not going to properly reflect the real value of the def trucks glut in the market and secondary market purchasers general disdain for them.

idk, I only used nada to price non egr trucks years ago. I guess maybe truckpaper.com might give a more realistic value.
