Todays great rate

Ain't looked at a loadboard in a few weeks. Took a gander yesterday and my heart sank into my gut. Been keeping busy pulling direct reefer stuff with my buddy's truck this terrible winter but will be going back to my open deck come spring. This reefer business still sucks after all these years.

 

I will get the 8 ft tarps out twice a day, in minus 20 degree 30 mph windy far north for a buck thirty all in before i ever buy another reefer.

 

I'll haul double 53 foot refers before I touch a flatbed lol

All joking aside i don't hate reefer. I hate grocery warehouses, cold storage warehouses, chicken plants, pork facilities, produce barns and markets, and retail. If a person can eat it or buy it at a store. I don't want it on or in my truck.

I've learned to charge more for places like wal marts, c and s, etc. That way idc what's being held up.

I started with a dry can and it was easy off and on. At first with a reefer I went insane cause I couldn't believe the wait times and the BS. Now that I know I always charge more for places, and prepare myself to do paper work, clean inside my truck, and things like that before I sleep.

I would probably get a step deck but if I primarly ran southern states.

 

It isn't really the wait times. Sure thay sucks but it's the attitude that i won't take. The people at the doing and recieving desks of those places are just not worth dealing with.

I don't expect a lot, but i do expect to be treated and spoken to with a little bit of common courtesy.
