Just heard back from the Recuiter and I should be getting a call from the terminal manager here in ATL soon. Might be seeing you all here real soon.

Good deal! Daryl Miller, the terminal manager there, is a good guy. He's younger but started in tank wash and worked his way up through the ranks. Wealth of knowledge!

    Good luck

Had to create a new account, other wasn't accessible anymore.

They ended up just changing the oil pan gasket and it hasn't shown signs of leaking yet. It's gotta miss to it, but we'll get that handled at next service.

Been running my butt off, lots of out n backs but it's still $! Was in Morris a couple weeks ago, stupid 78k rule lol

Buddy of mine is starting as an O/O next week, so it's obviously a great company. He's leaving Landstar to come here!

    How you been?

    DRAGON64 Thanks this.

That's good your staying busy. Regional freight has been a little slow in Morris, but I have had a bunch of stuff to do at home so I'm ok with a day off here and there. I'm going to be getting certified to become a driver trainer in a few weeks so I am really looking forward to that. Hopefully we will have a lot of new hires this spring.

Yea, I do pretty good. They have a "guaranteed pay" program, so you'll never gross under a certain amount.

Pretty much if you're available for work AND you don't refuse a load you'll get it. Last I heard, 1st years get $700wk and after 1yr you get $900wk.

I've always been over that, except when my truck was in the shop, then I got the guaranteed pay.

Freight is picking back up, so we all should be over the minimum.....unless you're a lazy driver, we have quite a few. Older drivers seem like they do this for retirement as where us younger ones run circles around them lol

Ok thanks for the info. I'm looking to get away from dry ban and reefer. Tired of these types of loads. Is dry bulk better?

I believe the guarantee amount is based on your average weekly pay. For example a local guy that only does one load a day would only qualify for the $700 a week. If you are averaging over $900 a week you get the higher pay. I'm not positive but I think that's how it works.
