I just knew that you didn't need to run 2 logbooks, driver. Study up on the regs a bit. You can work things in your favor.

And, off topic, @TripleSix, I've read a lot your posts in the flatbed section. You're a wealth of "how to" info

The rules of the game are run one legal logbook. Bull crap like what you are asking for is why the industry is having ELDs crammed down our collective throats. Any pattern of illegal logging can be used against you in court as an aggravating factor if you get into a serious accident - that's something you can't control.

I do not like the fact you want to do something illegal! It is your kind that give truckers a bad name! If you can not follow the rules do not play the game. I am so shamed that you are one of my peers. If you want to do something illegal get into politics or something!

Someone doesn't understand how ELDS work. It's tied into your trucks systems. The milage discrepancy will be noticed.

If you need to be explained this then ,lol. Even if someone tells you you will screw up and get caught. I know how to do two logs (sorry, its common sense) but i have never done it and i never will do it. I am vehemently opposed to 14 hour work days. Those are Chinese sweat shop hours. #### that. Why would i want to add to that? If i was in your position i would call my dispatcher and tell him im out of hours. If he comes back with a "but but, cant you just....." " no. Deal with it." *click*
