Tip 1) never work two different logs

Tip 2) make sure the paper copy matched your elog or don't do it.

If they are settled out of court the driver is not jailed ie. I was right.

However you start out by telling me that theirs no evidence to support your claim, but then at the end you claim there is case law to support your claims.

Get your story straight driver. This isn't the truck stop counter.

WOW. I kicked one heckuva hornets nest.

@MACK E-6 I will read the link on page 2? this weekend. I didn't have time today

@Long FLD. Thank you. That was more the help I was looking for.

@anybody else. Mixed reviews. Chewy, pattyj and a few others here and there, thank you. I'm probably forgetting some. @pattyj, you sound really nice, but tough love when it's needed. Please keep it up.

Can someone clarify if ELOGS are being mandated in, or are EOBRs being mandated in?

Also- please clarify outlaw, super trucker, and steering wheel holder. I have heard and read both used derogatorially and complimentary.

    pattyj Thanks this.

E logs and Eobrs are not being mandated for trucks 99 and older. My truck is a 96' :)

Whoah cowboy, you work "outlaw" 30 hour days and you're bragging about it?

Lot of fail here. First of all their is only 24 hrs a day. 2nd of all I was specifically referring to my time on e logs. I wasn't able to sleep when it thought I should. I'd work 14 then sit around for 10 hours bored out of my mind. Then right as I start to feel like going to bed my 10 hour break is up and I start again. This was a routine deal for me on e logs. I virtually never stay up that long on paper. If I'm tired I sleep. If I'm rested I drive.

You are the exact reason why we have elogs, ELDs and speed limiters coming down the line. Thanks for your efforts.

Yeah I know there's only 24 hours a day otherwise I would be violating HOS everyday .
