Oh right, another thing is I'd test positive for Oxycodone in a hair test because I was taking it after my accident. I haven't for a month now and it was prescribed and legit but it's still blacklisted by the DOT. I'm not sure how that'd work out because I'd be unable to prove I'm not actively taking it. I'd pass a urine test though. Is it something to worry about?

I'm not sure which of those companies do hair test. It could be a problem with a hair test.
    Western Express does urine test.

If you talk to companies on the phone, tell them about the accident and that you're no longer on prescription medications and now trying to get back in the work force since the accident. Or you can just ask about the hair test and explain why you're asking.
Western Express drivers post they just did urine test so if that's the case there's no reason to mention anything else to them.

You give as much driving history as you can. This three year work history is a carrier thing not a federal rule. You do not need to show proof of work history just the information for the carrier to verify if they desire. Be prepared to sign releases so the carrier can contact old employers. Also be prepared to give proof of all gaps if the carrier asks.

You would just have to show the perscription, and prove your off of it.

No, oxy is an opioid, heroin is an opiate. One is natural the other synthetic. Opiates are prohibited and illegal. You can take opioids with a prescription but you can't drive.
