I took my Volvo by the dealer to get a couple things fixed, and finally learned how the inverter system works. It's all from the factory and has a MASSIVE inverter and like four 120V duplex outlets in various places in the truck.

congrats, so was it something simple to make it work?
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Yes, I don't have the owners manual. But yea its a snap. Volvo in Phoenix is great. One of their mechanics checked the whole thing out on the house, and gave me the instruction.

Awsome

Is it the newer style Xantrex model in the jockey box or the older one outside underneath? Newer style inside are great, out of the elements. The older outside ones go for a crap with all the road slop shorting them out.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

It's all under the bunk on the drivers side.

They're also are trickle chargers as well, dunno if yours has that or not but if it does they're great for keeping your batteries topped up and if you're plugged into shore power you can run everything you need without starting the truck 'cept of course AC.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Yes, got that as well.

It's a sweet setup isn't it !!!!!
I LOVE mine!! -
You turn it on and off right from the sleeper control panel area. There is a inverter control panel factory mounted.
