Yes, you certainly can get Breakdown pay...anywhere. You might have to pester for it. If you don't receive it, provide your DM a summary in writing, asking for the pay. A lot of times the computer talk gets forgotten or lost. Just be thorough.

 

This is truckin. Don't worry about "this weeks miles."
Instead, look at your miles as a monthly average. Your bills are due monthly. Not weekly. If you manage YOUR hours of service properly, you'll never have a "day off" while your away from home. Every day your wheels need to be turning.

 

I can see layover pay, if your waiting for a load. The only thing I've ever gotten at the yard is a reset!
But that's cool. Free laundry, free shower. The Chinese restaurant delivers, and they are AWESOME!!!!
I order about 4days worth, and keep it in my fridge.

 

There's a lot to learn. This is a CAREER! Not just a job!
