    Today I begin taking a new platelet drug.

    Hobbled into the truck about noon. Heading to grab an empty at Meijer in Lansing for the go to load of drums to Alabama. Kinda painful, but at least I can work.

    I think my nice medium sized company is trying to grow too fast.
    I'm noticing 5 new drivers hired each week, and more older trailers being brought up to DOT to put them back on the road. (Formerly storage)
    Communication is starting to stretch from 1-2 people I had to deal with, to 3-4 now, depending the day of the week.
    Otr used to mean 500 plus miles per day , now I'm finding myself covering regional loads more often.
    Hopefully my blood meds work well and I can ask to get back to the warehouse again, at least I knew all 4 people I had to deal with there .

    I'm pretty sure the idiots plan these things. Or maybe the college grads who ma the planning desks have never had to implement the plans they send out.

    They see the big bucks at the end of the rainbow and want to get into the action. Mine, too. We've got so many new drivers coming on each week (10-15) that the new drivers are being given Ryder rental trucks and rental trailers.

    And our CSA scores show the problem with almost-uncontrolled growth.
