I didnt say they wouldnt match, they just wont work on a acert. Its a whole different injector. That seller on ebay has been known to be shady at times. Selling you the turbo and saying it will work is exactly my point.
Derating it to 575hp wont do much with the injectors you have, it will be a drop in the bucket, you simply dont have enough turbo for the injectors, if you were to get a stage 5 your temps wouldnt go pass 1000*F and you could use the power all the time. The manifold will help you a lot. It is your engine though. Just trying to help.

Because I am running stock aftercooler would that make any difference to air flow ??
At the moment I am fitting a boost gauge to the exhaust manifold to check pressure I was told it should be 15psi higher than than boost on intake if its higher than that I have a restriction somewhere, sound right to you ?? -
I am on a stock cooler as well, you would benefit from a bigger one but it wont cause exhaust temps to be so high.
Yes exhaust manifold pressure will be high, on the stock manifold it will be way more than 15psi over the intake with the fuel your pushing. It might be that low with a B manifold, i bet your at 80psi at the exhaust manifold -
The only restriction you have is the stock manifold and not enough air flow. A friend of mine ran the 59 injectors on a stock C15 manifold and he would see 1200+ degrees. After the swap he saw no more than 1000*. Hes the guy i bought mine injectors from.

Now you have me worried,Wish I found this site before I had done this as for the engine it drives much better response is amazing fuel is better you just cant let any one else drive it or they would cook it.
I have talked to the guy that sold me the parts and he said he would stand by them I will test the pressure like he said and get back to him. -
That guy on eBay has been a member since 10/04 and only has 5 feedbacks on him.
I would ruuuuuuun from that guy. -
Dont be worried, you obviously have the fuel. Now you need the air problem solved. You simply dont have enough turbo michiganturbo will set you up with a turbo. Tell them you need a stage 5 for a C16 CAT and tell them Martin from MI sent ya

After that turbo you will be pleased, you wont have to worry about exhaust temps then. Just put your foot down and go.Last edited by a moderator: Jul 20, 2008

By the way you said at 1900rpm boost is down from 48psi to 40psi. This right there is telling me the turbo cannot keep up with the air demand the motor needs, i would ask for a refund on the turbo if possible, the stage 5 is 2500$.

Thanks very much,It wont hurt the engine in the meantime as long as I keep the EGT down will it??I will see what the other guy comes back with tomorrow after the test.
I do appreciate the help. -
No, just keep a light throttle and watch the exhaust temps, as long as they stay below 1200*F dont worry about it. If they start to creep up on a hill then drop a gear, hold 1700rpm or higher and go half throttle. If you have any issues than feel free to ask, these engines are pretty much my life. lol.
