Best and worse truck stop

I guess I'm a goofy goober because my Favorite truck stop is The Worlds Largest Truck Stop in Walcott Iowa!

The worst truck stop is any truck stop that has no parking when you get there or if it does have any parking spots left its paid parking!

 

One of my favorite stops is in Kentucky exit 144 I 75. Definitely not for the parking. But the biskits n gravy is worth stopping in for!

 

You must be talking about Noble's. I stopped there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The parking lot sucks, but their diner is great.

 

One of the very few full service stations left. Reminds me of the truck stop my mom would stop at every time we went to visit my aunt when I was a kid.

The Branford CT TA has the most righteous water pressure. That is all.

 

Sometime I enjoyed just parking at a convenience store that had parking big enough. I had my favorites around the country. Most had a nice restaurant within walking distance and I remember once going to see a movie. There's a lot to be said for getting out of the major truck stops and getting out of the noise. I could put up with a bad parking setup, but I hated all the noise.

And the dirtiest, cramped piss soaked lot with bad coffee.

 

Worst for me is the flying j in Casper wy. Parking is horrible. Leaving the fuel island to the exit requires a u turn and someone is always sitting next to the scale so it's a tight turn for a 53' spread.

I quite like the coffee cup truckstops in the Dakotas. Showers are large, modern and very clean. I also love caribou coffee.
