I knew I was in Texas. When I seen a guy trying to dry his shirt with the hand dryer.

Radford Travel Center xt 101 I-81 Dublin Va.

    Was gonna be short.

Saw a brake fire PTL on the shoulder just below the scale sb. Paasenger side trailer aflame. Not bad yet but it was actively burning.

THEN a REALLY bad day for a couple trucks. One jacked. Across the median. Tractor facing sb trailer perpendicular to the freeway. Off loading him.
Another maybe 1/10th of mile was pulled upright and stll strapped up, so it was just uprighted.

4 miles or so of back up.

For sure I had a 2 stop drop the other night in Denver it said 0 miles between the stops...it was 13 miles...I am sure they bill the shipper for those miles

It's "estimate rate per mile" on our load board. Plus it's shown the estimated distance from city to city, if there's an extra stop in the same city it counts it as no extra miles most the time.
Not the greatest of tools but better than nothing I guess.
When there a load from point A to point B I just plug it into google maps and adjust the route to see actual miles.
Another thing sometimes those estimated rates are based on taking a goat path lol.

At an independent in OKC. Had some downtime because I had to stop and get the trailer skirt on the driver's side removed as it was all torn and ripped up. DVIR said no defects of course.
