I love it. Few bucks less, but less bull. I hate running days though. Sure glad i keep my night schedule. 1 am to 1 pm, 2 am to 2 pm. You get the drift. Bang out more miles and less bs. Like coming out of pa into ohio this morning. If i didn't leave at 3 am, i would have waited till the snow cleared. Reason being? Look at what happened on 78 in PA the other day. Car stops, fed ex day cab wiggle wagon hauling ### at 70 can't stop, and 3 are dead. This morning? No fed wrex, only usf reddway amd estes. Hazards on doing 30. I pass on by at 65 no trouble in the world. See how easy that is at night?
Ya, like the otr thing better.
So I'm otr now.

When you're good at what you do, the better OTR companies take care of you. Especially if you don't mind running expedited freight at night.

OP, I love running nights. Yeah the snow was a bya$%& last night . . . but was do-able with no 4-wheelers cutting me off; CB air was clear of BS, yadda yadda yadda. Off to do it again; it thawed and got icy I hear.

So you found out that you are a vampire and your place is amongst the Brethren of the Night. The only thing that could make a night run better is being behind the wheel of a largecar.
G13Tomcat, BostonTanker and Mudguppy Thank this. -

Well, you better slow down when Reddaway or Estes has their 4 ways on. Somethings F'd up.
Was cruising along on ice. Co worker called me said "mm here to here is screwed up!" So I slowed down to a crawl. A bullrack stayed behind me. Two O/O flew by us at 55-60mph watched the 2nd guy zig zag off the road into a nice pile of snow. Luckily he didn't hit anything and jacked knifed it where it stopped before it smashed his cab.Only thing it hurt was his ego and his wallet for the tow bill to get pulled out.trailblazer2330, BostonTanker, tucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
