Run Hwy. 60 in Mo. & if you are lucky you might get to meet the guy who gave me a level 1 on the frontage rd. one night while loaded.Cottonmouth85 and wore out Thank this.

I'm 45 & have been around cattle all my life from raising them to hauling them. Pulled a rack from 03-08 when the runs slacked off & I went back to flatbed. Say what you want about cattle,but you could always smell the hog haulers long before you could see them & you knew they had been there even after they left. I was always told the word backhaul originated with hog haulers when they came south with hogs looking for cattle to get them back to Iowa.ramblingman, wore out and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

Yes I'm aware that hog haulers are the scum of the earth. But hey, we do what we doblade, taxihacker66, rank and 1 other person Thank this.

@KAK
No, y'all alright. Bacon and Pork Chops pretty tasty.IH Truck Guy Thanks this. -
I agree with @wore out. Pay special attention to the part about watching the folks that stay calm and cool loading, they're the ones doing it right. You don't have to be a screamer to get cattle to do what you want, all that does is get them stirred up.
@Cottonmouth85 , you forgot the ribs....... Don't forget the ribs.blade, rank and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.
