When I was younger a good friend hauled cattle. He started out with a dually and 32' GN then got a pot. I road with him dozens of times. It is a lot of work. This was back in the nineties but it was nothing for him to have to drive 15 hours straight. Certain days of the week are the cattle auctions and you are busy then you get down days.

Those cattle haulers fly !! I always wonder if they're paid by the load because of how fast they drive

Really I guess Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta don't qualify as big city. FWIW when a packin house is in a big city it ain't ever on the better side of town either

LMAO, good thing we haul tasty treats or nobody would like us.

IMHO, there are very few GOOD cow haulin gigs out there anymore. Please don't get yourself caught up in the "Bull Hauler Mystic". Those days are pretty much gone and it's a #### TOUGH life, back in the day the fun out weighed the BS, at least in our minds it did LOL

That being said there are still many great people in the biz but it's NOT all chicken lights and chrome anymore !!!

My great great grandfather was German and they lived in what was called Russia Poland. I think it's now part of Belarus.
