And? A lot of the Megas have stopped giving bonuses. Times are tough all over, most fleets are looking for ways to downsize not grow.

It looks like the only way to make some money with KLLM is pulling that .90 reefer freight.... Oh wait....
Jonkie Thanks this. -
Yeah, and if all of these lease drivers would stop running their trucks up against the governor all of the time, tehy might make a little more money.
fargonaz Thanks this. -
I'm with KLLM and I've posted videos. I've showed videos from orientation until now. I'm satisfied with KLLM. for me it is a great place to get experience. I was able to start out as a lp driver and can walk away at any time. Like any company their is good and bad but a little research will keep you from being too surprised. My videos are on YouTube William Mozingo or just search KLLM pay settlement. Their are definitely better companies out there but unless you have that magical 1 year or more experience you will have to pay your dues.

You are right. I'm lp with KLLM. I do 62 90% of the time. It really makes people mad because everyone is in a hurry but I'm here to make a profit.

I can't say much about them, as I never worked there, but I have a friend who did a lease purchase in 2010 on a 2009 Cascadia. He did the lease which includes all maintenance, whatever it's called.
He had a lot of problems with overheating, and kept putting the truck in Freightliner to get it fixed, with poor results. finally, he put it in Detroit, and they found serious problems with the engine, and it had to be totally rebuilt. He had 400,000 miles on it at that point. his maintenance plan paid for everything, and he eventually paid it off and switched to Landstar.
I drove the truck for him for a few months, and it's a powerhouse. There is no top end to the speed, at least not one that my 37 years experience will let me look for, and it climbs hills loaded beautifully. I did have it up to 85 once on that toll road near Austin, and it still had more to give. But that's too fast for me. I just wanted to see if it would do it.
He did tell me he never had any extra money during the lease, and he worked his butt off, but he said it was worth it in the end, the truck was paid off on time, and he has nothing bad to say about KLLM.
Hope this helps a little. -
I know why they cancelled the bonuses......
And I also want to point out the CEO is a little punk when I talked to him on the phone. Rudest person I ever spoke with. Like to call people stupid too. -
a year is magical ?

But Ms Diva Trucker told me it's the bestest ever.
