I'm Walmart private fleet and I hit $100K last year. I was hired in 2013, so I'm not even topped out on the pay scale yet.

 

Bam! Where do I sign up? Lol there is a DC in new Braunfels TX north of San Antonio. You guys home weekends?

We're home at least 2 days a week. Not necessarily Saturday or Sunday, but...

 

i can work for swift pulling a WM trailer...does that make me a WM driver?

 

Nope. It makes you a swift driver pulling a Walmart trailer.

 

With all the rumors of Walmart drivers snitching on eachother, it's actually Walmart drivers calling on Swift pulling our trailers doing boneheaded things.

 

Seems management may be pushing to get non Walmart drivers out of the grocery DCs. They basically fired USXpress (I think) from the one out west about a year ago I think, opened up Mebane GRO DC and staffed it with Walmart private fleet, and we've also been pulling more refrigerated/frozen loads out of Gas City. Stated reason was they were trying to see if the complaints about pallets falling over/damaged product was due to bad loading or bad driving.

 

I have pictures showing cases of soft drinks stacked on top of muffin mix. I dont care how you drive that does not work.
