I'm not sure on South, but I talked to Brenntag Pacific years ago. It was very good pay and benefits back then. Hourly was starting at least $21, but there were guys up around $30 or more possibly. Plus they got time and a half over 8, and double over $12. But that could just be in California due to the OT laws here. They also had great insurance and a real pension. All the drivers were home every night. The only thing that I didn't like was I would have to work Saturdays for several years. I would definitely recommend them.

There's a Brenntag shop in SLC, They pay good, but layoff quite a bit. There's a warehouse in Ogden, but I'm not sure if they run trucks out of it

OK thanks guys I applied at the Durham NC location so we will see what happens. If they work weekends and lay off a lot I may have to pass anyway.

Keep us posted. I had a coworker check them out answering a job search add out of Greensboro, NC. He said they offered him a salary of around 55K running a day cab. The guy didn't take the job because he was afraid it would be a 60-70 hour a week job at 55K.

Is this Brenntag Midsouth? If so, what branch? I work for them so I can answer your questions but, only if Midsouth because the divisions do everything different. You looking at a road position or local?

Local starts out at around $18 an hour I believe, OT after 40 and you can work as much as you want. Good PTO, not great health insurance but a phenominal 401k. It's actually a great company to work for if you can get past the crappy insurance, at least it's cheap. Very stable, good equipment, No layoffs.

We just stared installing driver cams so you have to be ok with that. Let me know what branch.

$18 an hour is lower than I thought. I hope it gets much higher.
