Sour grape reviews, company manipulation, and overstated pay are problems that we already see in threads on the forum. Using a review database instead of forum threads doesn't solve those problems, it just makes it easier to see the full picture in one place.
There are some tools that can help reduce (not eliminate) these issues, though the amount of reviews and pay info in the system has to be larger before anything can be implemented.
It was a slow start, but a steady stream of reviews are coming in now. Keep sending feedback, I'll keep tweaking it.

It looks like we have to register for the review page separately from our regular TTR sign-in process, correct? I tried to log in using the e-mail address and password I use for the forums and it kicked it out "these credentials do not match our records".
Also, when I'm browsing through the companies listed, I can sort it between "Best rating", "Most Reviews", and "Company Name". When I get to the bottom of the first page and click the "2" for the second page, no matter what category I was in on page 1, when page 2 loads, it reverts back to the "Best Rating" category. Does that issue go away after I have signed up/in, is it a setting on my computer that I need to tweak, or are others experiencing the same thing?Last edited: Feb 14, 2016
Reason for edit: Left out a word. Brain got ahead of my fingers on the keyboard.Admin Thanks this. -
Yes, it is a separate login from the forum for the reviews database.
Interesting, thanks for the bug report. I've been focused primarily on the review submission process during beta testing, browsing the reviews is something I'll give more attention to.88 Alpha Thanks this. -
I just filled out a review for a former company and it isn't showing up in the database. Is there a review or waiting period before it becomes public?

I'd love to give a review but I don't need another account to have to deal with. Should be able to just do this from the account I already have.

Yeah, there are some spam issues so I have to manually screen them. I generally go through the queue every 24 hours.Voyager1968 Thanks this.

You only need an account if you want to go back and edit your review later.
The reviews database will be integrated with the forum login at some point so users have the option of attaching a review to their forum profile.MidWest_MacDaddy and MayhemTrucking Thank this. -

How is this any different than going to a companies forum to ask a question, or just to read what is being said?
Or doing a search for posts that pertain to a certain company?
You are asking people to submit reviews of companies, when you know full well that you will get the same good and bad ratio as we get in the regular forums.
This project seems just as pointless as Swift installing new security doors at many terminals. -
I wrote a review on CRST I should have put expedited, you can leave it or fix it I don't care. but how do you read the reviews all I see are the stars to rate the company. I was looking at Conway. does that mean they didn't write a review but just gave it stars ?
Admin Thanks this. -
I have to disagree on this ( at least for me ) reviews can be very helpful. Ive learned to read around the crap and get any useful info I can.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.
