Many Thanks!....I'm not too IT savvy yet, still a work in progress, or just a piece of work, I don't know?.....I've got other pix, trucks back in the day and also old wrecks too....I used to carry a Kodak everywhere back then, getting the roll of film developed took time , but good nonetheless....
jacob Thanks this. -
Don't feel bad, clausland, you aren't alone. These things slay me as well. At least with a roll of film, you take them in, you get them back, done. I can tell that Pete must have been a company truck. One stack and a wind deflector, not O/O equipped, for sure. What part of the North Woods? Wis.?

No, Northern NY, company truck yes, small outfit but close (>10)....Back then, we had direct contact with local shippers out and mostly produce back to Montreal when in season, but sometimes paper to New England.....I used to run steady from VT to AZ, that was tough on the old girl with only a high geared, Cummins 290, that eventually did "come apart"....

Kinda thinking that myself lol.

One of my friends in middle school lost his dad to a split rim while working on a road crew back in the late 70s.
I know nothing about them, what causes the failure?
