TMC ???

Don't waste your time on doing your own DOT physical, it wont matter at all and it wont help

I will tell you as i went through the cdl program a few weeks ago it will do nothing for the docs here. They use an outside company to conduct physicals. You will i repeat you will need a clearance letter from your cardiologist or fp whoever put u on the high blood pressure pills. The letter needs to be dated withing 30 days of u starting, also u need to let your recurtier know that u take those meds now because they will need the letter in advance of u because they will run it by there supervisiors to make sure its gtg. We had a few people that got sent home becauee they needed to get there clearance letters

 

Thanks, I'm thinking since I've been on them so long and they don't affect me at all it might be better just to keep my mouth shut and pass the physical and move on

 

The best thing to say in a physical is no lol, and stick to it, but if ur blood pressure is high that will hurt u as well, per dot for a 2yr card ur pressure needs to be 138/89

I did have one more question for you. Does it hurt u with getting hired for TMC to have anything but a 2 year card?

 

No we had guys who only had 1 yr, just sux for them cause they have to it again in yr

take ur car lol, after class and on weekends u will lose ur mind in the hotel, there is nothing even withing walking distance not even a gas station, as far as everything else goes make sure u study study study for the permit test
