Most drivers wouldn't even notice the sugar on the tank unfortunately.
You can open a high priced master lock with a zip tie in a matter of seconds. Cheap locks open with a blow from a hammer.
Did I do the right or wrong thing?

Think about the flip side of the coin next time there might be an altercation. Could the driver that is blocking the fuel lane be inside looking for the one that was pulled up and parked for a half hour. I know, unlikely..could back back out etc...just think about how thing are going to end up after the fact. And yes there is usually no good reason for some nimwit to be blocking the lane

I would personally just wait for a pump to open up. I don't get into a pissing/fighting match over trivial things. Yes the guy is inconsiderate but 99% of the world is you can't fight them all. So you lost 10-15 minutes it doesn't happen every day i'm sure.

On this topic I avoid fueling or stopping at Loves or Pilot/FJ whenever possible. These chains are notorious for poor layout of their yards and have poor customer service behind the counter. I hate waiting in line for truckers or civilians ordering fried chicken or pizza slices at the counter. TA/Petro usually has a separate fuel counter, away from the riff raff clogging the line. Sometimes you get a completely separate fuel store from the main store, which makes fueling go faster. -

J.J. Keller seals instead of padlocks.
Buy with cash at any truck stop, and slap that bad boy on his trailer. When he shows up to deliver, or D.O.T. inspection, it'll take forever to explain why his seals don't match the BOL.
He better hope he doesn't go deliver to a port authority company, it's an act of Congress to remove a seal there, even a wrong one loltucker Thanks this. -
