Let's go about this in another direction the difference between 55 and 70 is 15 miles every hour you can drive 70 that's 1,050 miles×2.00cpm that's 2100 in gross revenue a week! Trust me your not saving 2100$ a week in fuel and maintenance by running 55.

Let me know whenyou find these that all match up nicely in a row, lol
I never said I ran 55mph. My cruise is usually set at 62 or 63 and here is what I get in a regular basis, but then again my tractor is not a Schneider entry level shaker. I have a very nice 2015 Evo that's specd for good fuel economy

And once the spring winds die down it will be at 7.6 most times. And I run between 68 and 72 everywhere I go. And that's in a frlnr Cascadia with a Cummins and a ten speed. Speed really has less to do with it than you think. Operating at you engines peak torque is where you find the real savings.

The last truck I owned was a frlnr 07 model Columbia it had a direct drive ten speed with 264 rears at 75mph it was running 1350 rpms which was at peak torque 8mpg average over the 2 years I had the truck. If you want to run faster spec the truck to do so. If you want to cruise at 72 get a direct 10 (less rotating weight) and set your rears to the right ratio to keep it in your peak torque range at that speed.

I find it funny... Yeah you know more than the rest of us will see you when you come on here failing like crazy... unbelievable... there's more than just driving a truck and deliver in loans on this program you have to do everything the office people do as well... You have to load plan trip plan and work on more than one occasion have loads cancel then you have to turn around and go back and redo everything... Good luck

Woah was just curious about the program lol no need to get your panties in a wad. Oh and I am very familiar with schneider as I was an outside carrier for them for 5 years. Just never knew how they worked internally. So calm down hero think I can handle the load planning stuff I've been an owner op for the last 15 years haha

Be careful, you're letting your troll ears show.

If you have a truck that you can run around in doing those speeds already then why lease one from Schneider? Sounds like a troll sighting to me.

Run it like you want. That's why it's called Choice. I'm not going to argue what's best for your business.

Sold out have too many pans in the fire. I have as of now 2 vapor stores 6 rentals a 60 unit storage property and up until 2 years ago 5 trucks and my own authority. With just me and my wife it was killing us to keep up with everything. Sold the trucks and the headache disappeared. But now my son is starting to take over the day to day running of our other stuff we want to get back into ic work but don't want any big investment. So a 1 year lease fits the bill. No real financial commitment. ...see? And schneider seems to have alot more freedom than where we are at now where we depend on a snot nosed kid to keep us moving.
