$23,800 4 year warranty from Cat.
Grijon and gerardo1961 Thank this. -
Try to stay out of the cold with it. MPG will be horrible when colder than -15c.
Mine runs best @ just above 1200 rpm. 7.3 MPG US annual avg. It would have more power on higher rpms but MPG would drop. The first time this winter now I'm using 0W40. Ran 15W40 and 10W30 and had low oilpressure warnings come on when I started the engine in the -30's and APU on for preheating. 25000mls/40000km oilchange interval.
I use CAT filter only for warranty reasons. Had it rebuilt 3.5 years ago. Very little issues, never stranded or on a hook in almost 5 years now.
How many hours are on the engine? How much idling time? APU? CAT expect only 20000 hrs before rebuild. Not only miles count.
I've paid 22000 for platinum kit, 4 years warranty, precooler, front structure resealed and front engine mount replaced at no extra cost on labour.
Without turbos or oilcooler.
Take it easy, treat her well and you shouldn't have trouble. Don't expect to have a racetruck.Grijon and Garry Sahota Thank this. -

Hey how's that CAT running for ya? Trying to get my mind right on what engine to look for.

Just make sure u be gentle with throttle always. Nd always check for any kind of leakage from broken clamps on exhaust manifold or turbo.
Good Luck
