My husband and I are starting driving school in April of this year and are looking for a company to train us together. So far, Covenant is what we have found. However, as I have been researching online, I am finding so many negative comment about this company. Granted, most everything I have seen is back a few years.
Does anyone have any new info on Covenant? Are they worth a shot? If not, what other companies will train is together?
Thanks for the help.
COVENANT OR NO?

What are the negative comments? From what I've read the teams with hazmat endorsement do pretty good.

Check Abilene Motor Express.

Husband/wife teams did the best at Covenant when I was there..
Training is the hardest/worst part. 3 people in a truck in your case !!!!
Just remember the company's not for everybody but I made over $53K first full year there doing dedicated ups/fedex/amazon freightChinatown Thanks this. -
We are an older couple and we are looking for a company we can retire from in about 20 years. So we are being cautious and checking into everything we can find. -
search and find a smaller company, maybe 300 trks or less, then search for reviews of that company. also depends on what you are looking for, if you don't like being micromanaged then stay away from the companies that will treat you like an idiot. search, search search, and you will probably find something that better suits your needs. if not then you have to do what you have to do. all depends on what YOU are looking for.

I have been here since last August and was thinking it was just going to be my starter company but thinking I will be here for much longer now... And if all goes well, my wife will join me as a team later this year.
We just had another married couple join our ranks and after a few weeks (6-7) of training they were just assigned their truck and are having a great time.
We run coast to coast and all 48 States and our teams get a lot of those time sensitive long hauls as a solo would never make it there in the time frame given.
Abilene has quality loads, much is drop n hook, and all of it is no touch. It is also a smaller company with like 400 drivers so it's big enough to be solid but still very much a small operation. And you avoid a lot of the BS one gets at the mega companies too.
Stay Safe,
