After 18 years driving I've converted from do anything legal or not to legal driving and today I made a judgement call about driving in the in the bad weather from Michigan to st.louis after my safety department told me it was my decision if I felt it was not safe to operate then shut it down. Afterwards the owner told me I could not do it he didn't need me to bring him the truck. I understand that you have to try but half the roads were closed so I knew before I ever started out.I know the laws and I'm not looking to do anything but move on I just wanted to post this so that other drivers know to stand your ground don't let someone decide your safety. Thanks for reading my threa.

I fortunately only ever got a taste of running a paper book that was more a joke than truthful. Glad I never picked it up. So I have zero idea what you guys did back in the day. And I want to keep it there. It's just not worth it today.
I do remember many times, my father would come home after a week running the east coast and he'd spend a couple hours Friday night drinking a few cold ones and writing out a week's worth of logs. Good times.
That's oddly about the same time my logs got all colorful and my Tonka trucks started loading like freight trains and running like a race car.
Fathers... Teach you all the good in life.mjd4277 and Jasongrimes36 Thank this. -

I would tell the POS owner, no problem. Here is your truck, good bye. If he doesn't trust your judgement, the hell with him. It's your life on the line out there, not his.snowlauncher, gearjammer42, Lonesome and 7 others Thank this.
