    Absolutely! Both are quick in and outs at Wal-Mart. The plus side is that once you empty in Lewiston, ME, you are guaranteed at least 400 dead head miles to your next pick up. In addition, you'll come across some extremely cheap fuel in New Jersey on your way out of Maine to your next pickup.

    I ask for that load each and every time I'm in Florida.

    I like Lewiston also. People up there are awesome. But they had me pick up in Manchester NH, 124 mile dead head. If I remember correctly it was cake, super light load.

    Was the week star wars came out so got a cab in Lewiston to see it then also did some Christmas shopping. Great community.

    Yes they do... I was replying years ago and I just recently talked to another prime driver who's leaving who showed me his settlements and yes they do charge for phone calls... Robert lowe pretty much leveraging the back of his own company on the backs of all the lease ops..

    Well shot for Santa Rosa, made Moriarty. Anyone ever delivered to Saputo Cheese in Allentown, PA? No directions are available, that usually means it either REALLLY easy or Level 80 Wizard hard! In other news this truck to be named later is now averaging north of 7mpg. A DT12 and 3.07 gears climb hills like a raped ape! Reminds me of the old days with a 3406 and an 18... Just not as fast...

    The county I live in just went Nazi on truckers, no parking anywhere in the cities or county except in designated areas. There are no designated areas...

    HI ALL!! Traveling w/ Mrs. Aminal has been GREAT!! Um . . . mostly ya know. There's the whole; girls gotta pee a lot (read ALOT!!) thing. Boy oh BOY do they pack heavy too!! Yeah, there's that. The WHOLE top bunk filled w/ . . . um . . . stuff. Yeah. Stuff. Necessary STUFF. Like the blow dryer, curling iron and straightening flat iron (WTF?!). I mean, no WONDER their hair needs conditioning! It's ABUSED!! Curl today, straight tomorrow! WTF!! Something wrong with "JUST HOW IT IS?" Not in MY book! One of the SEXIEST looks there is; is the look when your Lady wakes up with her hair a mess and that dreamy look in her eye. What guy doesn't . . . well, you know; - right then and there? Morning wood-working!! Just sayin'!!!! SWEET!! Sometimes the long wait to u/l at Wally World ain't so bad either. Just sayin'. Being creative is a GOOD thing. Most times. LOL.

    Then there's the money . . .

    Whatever $$ bill you give them NEVER comes back just quite right!!! "Honey; can you fill my Thermos while I'm fueling the truck?" Give a Benji. Expect a few Jacksons and a Hamilton or two, and a Lincoln w/ some Washingtons and coin thrown in back.

    NOPE!! Nothing back! but a (heart-melting) smile and a fresh Thermos of coffee and some sweet sugary doughy stuff you don't give a ###### about!! $100. Cinnabons out the Wazoo and an Egg McMuffin and cup of coffee for me. Math don't add up.

    The stars in her eyes and her visions of her having pleased her Hubby prevent and override my visceral desire to fuss about unnecessary expense. Quite costly.

    The starry eyes and "WOW'S" cause she got to see a Moose Family sipping some clear fresh Idaho quaff, in REAL LIFE; Priceless!! I'll leave the balance of that story out.

    ::)

    Yep, it's a cold storage facility. And it's easy but I passed it and had to turn around. lol

    It's the first thing on the left once you turn on snowdrift road. And no overnight parking there.

    Just a heads up for anybody driving on CA99 in Madera County. They are cracking down on driving in the middle lane on a three lane road. I got ticketed after passing a slow local truck and not getting over fast enough. I'm having a lawyer try and fight it since I'm a member of the interstate trucker legal services. It's a point on your license. They had five trucks pulled over on a one mile stretch of road all for the same thing. When I talked to interstate trucker she said they had a guy that had just called in for the same ticket in the same area.

    Sounds like they need some easy money. Yep that's why I have drivers legal.

    Just had to look that area up. Did not know there was a middle lane law there. Is it CA law that all trucks need to stay in the right lane? Have seen the second lane ok for truck signs...
