I have no trailer expense.

If you are looking at numbers this will not be a thread for you to watch. For me it's more about job satisfaction.
Lone Ranger 13 and CJndaTruck Thank this. -
My pay after all expenses was $0.77 a mile all miles driven last month. So it's a little better than th $0.39 I was making as a company driver (HHG miles).Auctioneer and Lone Ranger 13 Thank this.

If you're happy that's all that matters.gerardo1961, blairandgretchen and CJndaTruck Thank this.

Thanks for your straightforward answer. Some people don't seem to want to answer that question. Looks like a decent average.

You're welcome. Rates are different for different people. Some people will see the number and it doesn't look good to them because they have their own trailer and then there are those who have their own authority and have additional expenses to cover.CJndaTruck Thanks this.

Also when I got my truck I signed up for ATBS to do my accounting. I have been very happy with them and would recommend them.SouthernBelle21 Thanks this.

I used atbs when I was leased to Crete. They could get most of my expenses from Cretes computer. It was very convenient and possibly more accurate.

A different point of view: At one time I worked at a place that did Land Star Inspections. Every thing from E350's to heavy haul. If you are out on the road and and your inspection expires you can not get dispatched until your vehicle has passed inspection at an authorized Land Star, Ranger, ETC. inspection station. All that said just to say some of those guys had been leased on for 15+ years. Some of them had old trucks like the way cool Pet old enough that front brakes were not required. Sounded like the key was to be on with a good broker-dispatcher. Don't try to run junk and be dependable. Sounds like modern technology way have changed the dispatch world. Don't recall complaints of them jerking peoples money around like some companies.
Bro_Dave Thanks this.
