Schneider Lease-Purchase..

The difference with this type of lease is you do not get the money back at the end of the lease.
Plus the more miles you run the more the cents per mile go up..ie: .06-.11
So if you run 2500 miles in a week at .09/mile for maintenance that =$220.00
That's more than SFI lease maintenance contribution..just something to think about.

With either lease YOU are paying for whatever goes wrong with your truck.

Virginia sucks

 

For the Whipper VA sucks, for others it may work no one on here can tell you if it will work for you because we all want different things from life.

I love being home and having a life as well as being able to drive when where and why I want too.

Some would just as soon sell everything they've worked for and live on the road for weeks or months at a time and not have a life.

You can ask all the questions but again what works for us will differ from you.

But for the VA area it's not bad but not great either.

Whatever you are looking for remember to be FLEXIBLE and be willing to do whatever is necessary to be successful whatever your Definition of success is.

 

As you will learn we all have opinions and speak them freely usually.

Whipper has a love affair with constantly pointing out the negatives of a mileage based program, which I'm not saying isn't true but in reality this Choice Percentage program is a mileage based lease also its just a sliding scale mileage program.

Percentage based lease is a selling point and not a true statement in the common sense world.

 

I'd be all for mileage programs if the pay wasnt so low. I'm sure most of us would agree being we have ourselves chosen this percentage program over the endless amounts of mileage programs out there.
VA isn't that bad, theres much worse out there.
Just not a lot of freight there. I use to go to VA a bit actually but freight has died down there even faster than elsewhere imo.
However i agree with Tennman, you gotta do what works for you and you love.
That's different for everybody.
