    Hello fellow drivers:

I was just told I can attend orientation for PTL in Murray KY next week, but before I go I would like some information from current drivers for the company about them. I have just about a year experience and would like to know how they are to work for and should I be worried about miles and stuff with the trucks. Anything you could tell me would be beneficial. Thanks for your help.

i got approved for them as well. Only have 3 months experience so i would have to go out with trainer for 2 weeks and team with another newbie for 6 weeks. not to fond of that idea.

My son in law is a trainer there now. You will do just fine. If you dont like your trainer just request a different one.

6 weeks, eh? Who told you that? You've been lied to.

    It's 80,000 miles of P2. 80,000 for EACH driver.

Good luck getting that in 6 weeks.

I worked for them for a short time last year, leaving only to go help my daughter with my grandchildren's adjustment to their dad being deployed. My time there was good. I had plenty of miles and a decent relationship with my DM. My only complaint was them getting rid of the diesel-powered APU's in favor of battery-powered EPU's, which didn't cool very well in the heat of summer. You can do worse as an experienced driver.

Actually it's 80k and the west coast thing depends on how lucky you are. If you keep getting partners that need hometime/are close to their 80k, you can get stuck on the east coast like I did.
