They have some dec. runs in ky. to auto plants, after training with another driver for flatbed steel/tie down you will be on E/log and running on your own.
-
Aquaintence who still drives for them says they're changing names yet again. Still no tarping pay & now demanding virtually everything being tarped. Top rate is 27% & lots of Union mills to deal with.
-
One other detail on that 27%. You have to run a minimum amount to stay there. One complaint with that is it's based on prior quarters performance & some drivers would come up short of this in a slow freight quarter & then find themselves running their tails off when things picked up only at a lower rate. This will not be explained until the after training orientation session, where you'll also be told you'll be charged for training if you don't accept the job. Which ammouts to the 2 weeks they run behind on pay. Something to ask about up front. As previously stated E-logs with 2 way camera complete with listening capabilities, plus a roving inspector who frequents some of the mills they load & unload at.

Been there 14 months % has never dropped. roving inspector pays in pilot gift cards if your dot compliant and cmaera has never been an issue. i have no complaints w this company. you arent a number and family oriented. its a workin mans flatbed tho. doorswingers will never make it
