Walmart here I come!

I must have too much on my checklist because I cannot even talk through it in a half hour.

 

Sorry for the late update. Got my final call this past week and I will be starting orientation April 4th in Searcy. That will be exactly 5 months since I applied. My family and I are very excited for our new opportunities that Walmart will provide. Thanks to all who have helped on here!!

 

The reason it's timed is because they want the most accurate portrayal of how you do your pre trip, you don't have to explain what part does what but don't also just look at things, say what you are checking for and move along, don't forget triangles extinguisher permit book and dvi book, you'll be fine

 

Thanks for the tips. The test sounds a little different then what we did for the CDL test where we were identifying the different components of the steering linkage and reciting specific terms for every part like "checking that the skid plate is mounted securely to the platform."

 

Thanks for the clarification. I think if I am offered the opportunity I won't turn it down because of that. I'll just have to get used to running lean and mean, not having my stuff permanently set up. When I first started driving and was teaming a lot, I used to carry a large comforter that I would put on top of the mattress/bedding and used a sleeping bag so I'll just do that again.

 

I'll put it This way...looks,like she wants to control you...do what you think is right...mine was like that but it didn't matter local regional or otr....sounds like you should step up and do what is right as the man of the of The house..

 

Also meant to tell you get out before you back up and visualize that your jaws are closed on the king pin, it can be an overwhelming day but trust me succeed and I know you'll be happy here

 

Took the tests today and passed them. Just have to wait for the background check. Thanks.
