Well I don't know who is on facebook but Firestick doesn't list an antenna specifically for a Freightliner that I can find on their web-site.
-
I looked for the 7 footer too, never found it, I like my Predator, it's doing pretty good, plus I never liked the looks of fiberglass antanae
-
I found the 7fter easy enough, but not one that said anything about being for a Freightliner.
-
Predators look awesome, but aluminum puts more static in your receive.rabbiporkchop and tucker Thank this.
-
I guarantee that will outperform any Predator 10k for that particular application.
-
You wouldn't notice the extra static unless Mark Sherman tuned your receive. The amount of extra noise falls well below the threshold of noise that 99% of technicians are capable of achieving.

It works for me, I'm an amateur radio person.
I may start a club, AMClub.com it is and I'm the Vice President,
I don't know where that link will take you. Bewarerabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
I tried a Wilson 2000 on an extended shaft like that. If I remember correctly the SWR was decent and it talked pretty good, but I had used a steel rod for test purposes (about 42?.. inches in length) and just never got around to getting one in stainless before I found out how good the 7ft top loaded fiberglass whip worked.
