Not to downplay your experience, but there is much to be said for proper lifting.

We have a guy going through a similar issue.

His doctor disagrees with the company's doctor. The "job description" sent to his doctor was radically different from what we do every day.

    He had to lawyer up.

Never heard the term "food monkey" before. It made me laugh. I deliver produce off a straight truck and its not too bad. I see the PFG and drivers for other companies doing it and it looks a hell of a lot tougher than what I do.

the smallest truck I unloaded was almost 800 pieces. The biggest (by myself) was about 1400. Close to 38,000#

The problem is, Ohio employment law isn't written to benefit the employee, but the employer. I have a couple of atty's reviewing the evidence to see if they will take the case

I have a interview tomorrow with PFG in Elkton, Maryland for a driver. Wanting to know how people liked being on a team? They told me that myself and another driver would do runs together. My experience comes from being a solo driver for over 14 years and never did teams before and just didn't know if you got along with the other driver cause some people don't like the same music, bo, or whatever.

If anyone has information about being teams with PFG please reply back. Thanks.

I have no experience on a team, other than when I was training someone, or being trained on it myself. Just make sure you cover your ###, check the laws in Maryland with regards to recording conversations, and record every phone call, and if you ever get hurt (hopefully not), make sure you record the face to face conversations as well.

Again, make sure it is legal within your state before you record any conversations - otherwise you could face criminal prosecution.

I am the OP, i worked for them and then was pushed out due to a workplace injury. I was not on a team, I was a solo route. I would not recommend working for them after my experience - please see the very first post on this thread.
