    I hear ya. In my orientation out of five people 2 were coming in from Dart so I would research them carefully.

    Yea I have been for months and some do well while others dont. There L/P thru highway sales sound good but the only way you can take the truck to another company is to pay 30% of the remaining amount on the contract

    I haven't attended orientation yet but the recruiter told me that they had several across the country and that I should go to the closet one in out of Atlanta in GA

    One thing I will recommend to anyone considering a carrier for employment. TALK TO THE DRIVERS! Current drivers. This will be a better source of information than the rumors on any forum. Now I will say that if you see a pattern, then the information might be reliable. (See Swift/Werner/CRE etc.)

    Well it looks like freight is picking up. I'm pre-booked on Some loads. Feel like I'm getting my groove back.

    Another thing I like about Landstar is I am dispatching myself. It was a good feeling when I fired my dispatcher. Most of them won't even answer the phone. Mine had around 40 trucks. Anyway it's working out way better.
