    LOL

Thats pure genius right there. If I had to guess, I'd say he is on a mission.

How does anyone even make it on to the interstate like that? Mind boggling.

To get picky with the truck in question. Not sure where you are, doesn't really matter, none of that equipment you mentioned would help improve his decisions he is making .
I see no flags. Not sure about centered from angle of picture. License plate covered. No retroreflective markings on the back of cab. No idiot lights.
What was holding the load. straps, chains. Wishful thinking. if your doing 67 in many states he is speeding with an oversize. In many states he is blowing curfew.
Gotta learn sometime. Each ticket will give him another nugget of wisdom.

That was the point of my post. All the stuff they want to mandate doesn't cure simple stupidity. And we were in WY, just west of Rawlins. Not sure about oversize speed since they upped it to 80. He had chains and straps, maybe flags on the front. But not a single light you could see approaching from the back.

Common sense is what determines whether a truck driver will be good or horrible.

THEY say a lot of things and usually THEY are the ones that have no clue about driving a truck. THEY think the roads will be safer, but I note that we also have a bunch of 4-wheelers that if you look at stats are the main cause of accidents on the road. But alas THEY don't want to legislate the 4-wheelers. As usual THEY make us the scapegoat because we are sitting ducks. I very much doubt ELogs and speed limiters will make a significant dent into road safety.

Yeah, its funny how we're "unskilled labor" until it's time to blame someone for an accident or incident; that's when we suddenly turn into "professionals"...

elogs and speedlimiters because megas hate when we deliver loads faster and good drivers prefer small carriers with paper logs and fast trucks so they tell their body senators/congressmen to pass those laws
