I used to pick up dogfood in OKC going to Louisiana. More than once a little over 80k.
I was able to burn off some fuel in Texas and get legal by the time I got to the Louisiana scale.
In 20 years I'm not sure if I ever got weighed in Texas.
Maybe things have changed. Been off the road awhile.

 

Most Texas scales randomly open and close, a little more time open lately than in past few years. I believe CSA scores may have a little to do with it., I have randomly been pulled over for the last 2 inspections, and I see a lot of other roadside inspections going on in the last few years. Soooooo has anyone heard from Zoomie?

 

I've seen his avatar on line from time to time so he hasn't completely left the building. I guess we'll just sit on his thread and keep it warm until he comes back. I'm still threatening to get a life if doesn't return soon, tan, rested, and ready.

 

I give up... what is this "getting a life"?

 

This Soap Opera/Reality Thread has run its course. At the end of the day most folks are not cut out for the life style.
