2016 Intermodal

2K is amazing. Heck if im doing 1800 id be happy. i think the slow down is winter right? Lets see what happens during spring.

 

Yup everyone is suffering, this morning as I drove thru Elizabeth seaport I saw a 4 mile 3 lines deep line to get into the port as I drove by I laugh because by the time most of them get their first load out I will be done with my day then I cried because I got 2 ####ty loads today ... 2 live loads for a total of 20 miles and about 300 dollars in profit I should be a stripper

 

Why are the lines so dam long? Thats why i like running nights. To avoid all this

 

Give it another week or two, Chinese New Year was early this year, it should start picking up

 

I just sold my truck today. Found a really good non trucking job that I couldn't pass up. It's been a nice last 5 years in intermodal, rates have been falling slowly since May and these new guys will walk in and accept loads without even knowing what they pay.

Good to hear guys. Jb hunt got full again. So hopefully by may/june itll open up n ill prob be joining intermodal

 

Oh yea it's kicking alright, our company yard is so ####ing full of containers. there's like over 100!!
