Why is a safe following distance seen as an opportunity?

    The problem is, too many van drivers are too willing to bend over for a body cavity search. So everyone everywhere in Van World thinks that van drivers grab their ankles and spell RUN because they like it.

    The problem with that is when it's obstructed cruise control is disabled and my truck runs 67 on cruise and 65 on pedal so it's a pain in the ###.

    2mph is 22 miles in a day if 100% of your driving clock is used full bore on the interstate. Hang a sheet of tinfoil on it and roll

    But beside the nuisance techy thing, there is another point about the issue of idiot drivers not moving back over into the lane with a good distance between who they pass and themselves.

    idiot 4 wheelers I can understand, but sometimes the trucks are the worst offenders.
