That works for you. Myself I know I probably couldn't handle living out of a truck for months on end. A job like yours being out Mon-Fri and weekends home sounds like a decent gig though.

 

It is a good gig but trucking as an industry sucks we are grossly underpaid work to many hours. I drive for a year then go back to operating equipment how guys do it tear after year baffles me

imo about the same as orher cities

 

I only drive chicago, so I have no comparison, but if I got paid cpm and had to sit in that traffic I would not be happy. Hourly pay changes that for me.

 

otr includes open roads..its not all about traffic weather and road conditions. have to take the good with bad..
