That is nuts! I love how everyone puts such a huge value in a honest hard days work, and then in the same breath #### on Mexicans who go through hell (literally) to get here to work their ##### off. You know what the motto for the city of Monterrey is? Work tempers the spirit...

As for working hard? Pfft...keep that. I work smart. My wife and I have a good time teaming but we are very much looking forward to getting outta the truck.

What it boils down to more than anything I think is discipline or lack thereof. Can you save your money? Not buy food and snacks and crap from gas stations? Can you work for 5 weeks solid without losing focus. Set goals and update them regularly.

We started driving because at age 23 we opened a crime scene cleanup business. We made a killing (no pun intended). But after 6.5 years and industry changes we knew it was time to hang it up, and we started driving to get out of some of the debt associated with the changes. Are we making as much as we used to? Not even close...but as a new driver, coming in on my first year I have grossed about 55k. Work hard and smart...

    Grijon and G13Tomcat Thank this.
